Our Publications

The Society for the Study of Ancient Egypt publishes an annual Journal and up to three newsletters each year. Both the Journal and newsletters are free to members, and members have the choice to obtain these electronically or in printed format.    

 The Journal (JSSEA) contains papers and reviews by scholars and is peer-reviewed.

We are currently planning to make our entire set of early volumes (prior to 2002) available on line and in a standard format so that the research published in them will be freely available to scholars, researchers and members. At present, we have a number of the journals available to download. More are planned to be added in future. Click here to access and download those that are now available online.

The newsletters include brief articles by members and scholars and also information and news from our Chapters and also about forthcoming events organised by the Society, as well as reports of previous Events.
