Dakhleh Oasis Project

In 1977 the Egyptian Antiquities Organization (now called the Supreme Council of Antiquities) granted the Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities the concession to work in the Dakhleh Oasis.

The Dakhleh Oasis Project (DOP) has expanded greatly since then and is still very active.
